Yep. At least something decent has come out of 2020.
Preheat oven to 375
1 cup butter
3 tbsp melted coconut oil
2 eggs
1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp kosher salt
21/2 cups whole wheat flour
2 cups rice crispies
1 cup choc chips
1/2 cup nuts(honey coated sliced almonds in this case but I think pecans might be a better choice)
Bake for 10 mins or till crisp at edges and still soft in the middle.
This is where I keep my recipes for a scrumptiously healthy life. Romantically, I imagine it as a place where future grandchildren will look up family recipes. In the meantime, it's a place I can go to remember how to make that thing I made.
